Scandinavian and Nordic style is an ever-popular choice for many modern homes. Clean lines, simple designs and pops of colour combined with natural finishes creates a timeless aesthetic. There’s no set rule for Scandinavian style. In fact, many people choose to mix it with rustic country styles to create a blend of traditional and contemporary.
Scandi style is often associated with snug, cosy winters. So much so, the Danish created a phrase for this cosy feeling - ‘Hygge’. However, with brighter and more colourful Scandi inspired pieces coming to market, the Scandinavian trend can seamlessly translate into the Spring / Summer months.
