How to create a seasonal bowl centrepiece
Adding a stunning centrepiece to your dining room table creates an area of focus that finishes off your interior décor beautifully. Your centrepiece needn’t be extravagant or expensive to act as a point of interest in your room. One of our favourite centrepiece tips is to fill a large decorative bowl with the contents of your choice to create an easy, casual focal point that can be changed up each season.
One of our favourite bowls to do this with is our Ball Rimmed Bowl that comes in a choice of three colours: cream, grey and teal. This bowl has a generous diameter of 380mm, meaning you can fit plenty of larger decorations inside it. The decorative balls on top and the crackled finish adds a rustic, country vibe to the bowl while remaining quite simple and minimal.
We love to fill this bowl either with seasonal fruit or some gorgeous artichoke head decorations. Below we have filled the grey version of this bowl with some artificial Clementine for an Autumnal look. The beautiful orange hues are perfect for making your home cosy during the colder, crisper months.
When transitioning to Winter and the holiday season, why not fill your bowl with an assortment of pinecones and red berries to create a gorgeous Christmas centrepiece. If you want something a little more glamorous, fill your bowl with a selection of your favourite Christmas baubles. We love creating rich, deep hues by filling our teal bowl with our purple and green artichoke heads.
Moving into Spring, we love incorporating some of the fresh, bright colours that bring our home to life. Here we have filled our cream bowl with some green artichoke heads that really add a pop of colour to your centrepiece. These realistic looking artichoke heads are perfect for adding some lush greenery into your home without having to worry about watering or them going off. It’s so simple yet so effective when creating an eye-catching centrepiece.
Finally, our stone fruit is perfect for Summer. They even look great all year round thanks to their neutral tones and natural stone finish. They add a rustic touch to your centrepiece and make a fabulous talking point when you have guests around. We also love the simple look of our white artichoke heads for a clean, fresh Summer look.
