Year-Round Hydrangeas

As we transition to late Summer, its time we indulge in the final joys the season has to offer us. Albeit a strange and difficult one for many of us, this Summer has seen some glorious weather. With glorious weather comes beautiful blooms, and one of our favourite Summer flowers is the classic Hydrangea.

While they most commonly bloom in Summer, Hydrangeas bless us with their presence all the way through to Autumn. This marvellous flower flourishes in a time when most woody plants are resting, so you get to see them for a good portion of the year. Their full, bulbous flower heads cover the shrubs in an array of stunning colours that attract bees and wildlife aplenty.

At Harrison Cropper, we’re so drawn to these beautiful flowers that we fill our homes with them all year round. While you can only get your hands on the real thing during Summer and Autumn, our realistic faux hydrangeas are always available and ready to display. Get your hydrangea fix even in the Winter months and create a beautiful display that needn’t require any watering or maintenance. Available in a large variety of colours, our faux hydrangea stems can be displayed on their own for a full, rounded look or with a variety of assorted stems for an Artisan look.

For a white colour scheme, we have the Single Ivory Hydrangea – perfect for Spring and Summer. Its long stem means it a good size for taller vases, however, can be trimmed to fit a shorter vase if you’d prefer. Alternatively, opt for our Small Single Ivory Hydrangea for a smaller arrangement if you’re lacking in space.

For a splash of Spring colour, we love the Blue and Lavender Hydrangea. It adds a fresh pop of colour and can be displayed through to Summer. They look fabulous on a Kitchen centre island or in a blue-themed bedroom. To be honest, they look beautiful just about anywhere!

If a vibrant pop of colour is what you’re looking for, we recommend the Large Single Purple Hydrangea – the bold colour is so eye-catching in the home! For added fresh greenery, pair it with the Large Single Green Hydrangea. This would make a fabulous centrepiece to wow your guests and fill your home joy.

For Autumn, we love soft pastel tones with an antique feel. For peachy tones, try the Autumn White Hydrangea. We love pairing them with sprigs of eucalyptus for a rustic, textured look. Alternatively, they tone so well with the Antique Lavender and Olive Hydrangea – a match made in heaven! We love how versatile faux hydrangeas are, there are endless combinations to create different looks in your faux flower displays.

Finally, for a deeper, richer look this Autumn try the Autumn Coffee Hydrangea. A stunning deep brown tone with hints of purple and orange make this the perfect stem for Autumn. You can almost feel the crunching of leaves beneath your feet when you look at this gorgeous Autumnal flower.
