Darwin Lovage Green Stripe Lampshade

Soft, calming and beautifully understated, our Darwin Lovage Lampshade brings a gentle green stripe and relaxed country character to your home.

The fabric combines soft lovage green and muted sage tones with a warm ivory background, using varying stripe widths and subtle woven herringbone detailing to create texture and depth. Lighter and softer than our Darwin Ivy shade, Lovage is ideal if you want to introduce green without it feeling too dark or dominant.

Its muted palette works beautifully with warm neutrals, creams, natural woods, oatmeal and other soft greens, making it particularly easy to style in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and relaxed country spaces. The classic stripe gives it a timeless feel, while the softer colouring keeps the overall look light and contemporary.

Each lampshade is individually handmade to order by our small team in our Lancashire studio. We carefully cut and position the striped fabric before rolling and finishing every shade by hand, creating a considered piece made especially for your home.

A lovely alternative to a plain neutral shade, Darwin Lovage adds subtle green colour, woven texture and timeless striped pattern without overwhelming your room.

Our lampshade sizes refer to the diameter across the bottom of the shade. If you’re replacing an existing shade, measure the diameter across the bottom of your current shade and choose the closest size below. If you don’t have a shade to measure, you can use these as a starting point:

20cm diameter × 18cm high
A small bedside or table lamp. As a ceiling shade, it suits a compact space such as a hallway.

25cm diameter × 21cm high
A bedside or smaller table lamp. As a ceiling shade, it suits a smaller bedroom.

30cm diameter × 21cm high
A medium table lamp. As a ceiling shade, it suits an average-sized bedroom or living space.

35cm diameter × 21cm high
A larger table lamp or smaller floor lamp. As a ceiling shade, it gives an average-sized room a fuller look.

40cm diameter × 25cm high
A floor lamp or a more noticeable ceiling shade in a larger room.

Remember to select Table/Standard Lamp or Ceiling Pendant under Fitting. For a ceiling shade, check that there will be enough clearance beneath it, especially over a walkway. If you’re unsure, email us a photo and a few measurements at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.

The fitting is approx. 3.5cm inside the shade on both lamp and ceiling fittings.

All our lampshades come with a small plastic convertor ring in the centre of the fitting so will fit both EU and UK fittings. Just clip this out if your lamp is the wider EU fitting.
